At Wesley, we offer two distinct styles of worship and a weekday communion service to meet the needs and tastes of our diverse congregation:
Our "Traditional" service is on Sunday mornings at 8:30 in the Sanctuary of our main building (120 North Ave. A). This service features traditional hymns accompanied by piano and organ. You'll find some liturgy, special music, a robed choir (seasonally), a bell choir, children's message, a relevant Bible sermon and a warm greeting. Communion is served on the first Sunday of each month. Childcare is available for children who have not yet begun kindergarten. As far as attire, we want you to be
comfortable; so come as you are! If you wonder what others wear, at this service
you'll find anything from a suit and tie or dress, to business casual. There is
a time of fellowship immediately following worship in Wesley Hall.
Our "Contemporary" service is on Sunday mornings at 10:45 at Wesley Ministry Center (60 North Ave. A.). This service is led by our in-house praise band. Contemporary worship songs, with the occasional hymn, are projected on screens at the front of the worship center. You'll hear an upbeat, relevant Bible message from one of our pastors. Communion is served on the first Sunday of each month. Childcare is available for those children who have not yet begun kindergarten. This service is certainly more casual and you'll find attire from business casual to jeans and
flip flops. Come as you are! There is coffee and refreshments available before the service begins.
Join us every Tuesday morning from 8-8:30 for a brief service of Holy Communion. This is an informal service of singing, prayer, a short message, and a personal time to receive Holy Communion. This is a wonderful way to begin your day and gather with the Christian community at Wesley.
